Brushing off the cobwebs

Hey, whaddaya know? The lights still work around here, although a few bulbs could stand changing.

Anyway, I will probably be close to home with free time on my hands a little more often in the near future, so maybe I can type some new life into this place. Also, a rather restrictive - in terms of my IP rights, i.e., I don't have any currently - agreement is due to lift from my shoulders at the end of the year, so I should probably get ready to speak again in the meantime.

Many things have changed since I was last heard from, and some are still the same. We'll see what happens. At the very least, it will be less than a year and a half before my next post. (I couldn't believe it's been that long.)
