Ahh, sweet internet again! Long story short, Verizon has the most abysmal customer service I've ever had the misfortune to experience. After a week of fighting with them to get my service working, first ahead of time, then on time, then resignedly past due time, I told them to shove it. I called Time Warner Monday morning. It is now slightly past a quarter to one on Friday, and I'm up and running. Suck it, Verizon.
