pencilling things in

This place is in dire need of an update.

The tentative list of things to do for this site is a complete reinstallation of Movable Type' newest available free version, a cleanup of the sidebar links -- many of which are woefully out-of-date and/or irrelevant, and perhaps a better system for avoiding comment spam. (You guys may not see it, because almost everything gets trapped in moderation, but there is still an unholy amount of crap making its way into the queue. I don't want to have to mess with it.) In addition, the folder for the site stats needs to be password protected to discourage referrals from undesirable places.

Jen Porter:

How are you feeling? I've been crazy busy this week but wondering how things are with you. let me know =)

Pederson:

I've had fair luck with the CAPTCHA (or however that one's spelt) stuff built into my current blog software. Is there a Movable Type equivalent available to you?

charles:

It probably is available, I just haven't taken the time to find it, even though the finding shouldn't take long.
