I'm sure it will subside, but the grad school itch has been making itself felt off and on the last couple of weeks. I don't plan to go back if it would mean giving up my job, but the job isn't going to last forever, and there may be a chance to start taking some classes while working so that it wouldn't take nearly as long to finish up a Master's once this contract is over. Life is never simple.
Ph.D. is out, though. It would take way too long now. Plus, I'm a horrible teacher in that I really hate teaching groups, and I lack the ability to do so anyway, so an academic career remains out of the question.

maybe it is just the learning bug that is biting you. That is one of the reasons I said alright I will go back when I was having troubles finding jobs. I wanted to learn again. You don't have to go back to graduate school to learn though.
