what a morning

Deer suck. AAA sucks. Paying for a tow truck out of my own pocket this morning sucked. $6000 in damage to the front end of a brand new car I've owned for 3 months and only gotten to drive for half that time really sucks. Saying goodbye to that wonderfully fuel-efficient car for the next two weeks while I feed a gas-guzzling rental truck isn't that fun, either.

Progressive Insurance, on the other hand, has been great to me all day long, as were the nice guards at Eli Lilly's Clinton plant who let me park my dead car in 15 minute parking until the wrecker came about 90 minutes later.

Current events kind of put it in perspective, but personal misfortune tends to have a sharper bite all the same.

Damn, dude. That is the suck.

... You did get the rack, right?

On the upside, you're fine, and the car can be fixed. The last accident I was in totalled my truck.

Jenny:

I get the feeling people I know aren't supposed to go anywhere for awhile.... at least you are okay and the deer didn't total the car.
