travel and books

The scheduling of the second Maryland trip may be up in the air now; I'm not sure what's going on, but I may be able to go in November instead. This weekend is a trip to Connecticut.

Amazon is claiming the "penultimate" Wheel of Time is coming out in October, but the prospect of Robert Jordan actually finishing what he has started seems unreal; it's been dragged out for so long already. If it really is almost the end, I may have to pick the series back up.

If it's going to be as good as the last one, I can't imagine how I'll contain my excitement.

At this point, it's sort of like Episode III: you have a feeling it will probably be a train wreck, but you go and look anyway.

Yes. On the other hand, I think I managed to avoid seeing RotS on my own dime.
