Work is going along nicely. It looks as if I will be training and taking classes for the next couple of months, but there's a chance I might get to do a small part of my actual job in there somewhere. It's probably a good indication that last week's classes that started at 8:00 each morning held my attention by virtue of being interesting. I don't recall a single 8 am class at Rose that wasn't slept through on at least one occasion, so I'm doing very well here.
My car is inching closer and closer to having 2000 miles on it; the odometer is somewhere between 1700 and 1900 right now -- not bad for having been purchased with 99 miles on it less than two weeks ago. It probably won't be seeing the amount of driving it got in the first week again anytime soon.
Assuming the travel request gets approved, I will be in Maryland for about a month in August for more training that I apparently can't get on-site. I highly doubt much of anything will be posted here in during that trip.
Now, I'm off to church to see if there's a good one in this town, or if I'll have to drive to Terre Haute next week.

Did you find a church that you like? I may be totally off base but when David first got to Rose, he said, he found a church outside of TH that he liked but couldn't get to. Maybe I am not remembering right . . . not sure.
