After much assembly consisting fastening things to other things using screws, bolt, Allen wrenches, and normal wrenches, my room is now equipped with a functional TV stand, a computer desk, and a futon. About halfway through the desk, I decided to scream if I had to put one more piece of furniture together with an Allen wrench; then I remembered that there is still a bookshelf that hasn't been put together yet and several more that have to be taken down, moved, and re-assembled.
Screaming suddenly became a lost effort.
On the bright side, once some risers for the futon are procured and boxes are shoved underneath, there will be plenty of space to move around the room. Avoidng sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag for the fourth night in a row is a plus, as is being able to set Asenath back up and get my own Internet access.
