zoom zoom?

Just in time for me to move back, Indiana raises speed limits to more accurately reflect how fast everyone has been driving anyway. The number is still a little too low, but at least it isn't ridiculously so. I do wonder how this is going to affect insurance rates.

However, there are some other changes which give less cause for celebration, such as requiring booster seats for kids and making it law -- rather than store or company policy -- to either move (pseudo)ephedrine-containing medications behind the counter or have them on the shelf under video surveillance. The last time I came back from Chicage via I-65, I got passed when I was doing 90 by some guy in a truck who'd just tailgated me all the way around a semi. I think he had a good ten miles per hour on me when he did that, too.

They've been doing the ephedrine thing down here for a while now. They're hoping to crack down a massive problem they've been having with people cooking up meth.
