Based on the four companies I've looked at so far, I can indeed save a lot of money by switching to Geico. Let's see if that holds true.
Edit: Progressive is cheaper and includes GAP coverage, which Geico does not.

I'd be in incredibly expensive hands with Allstate; it would cost over half again as much as Progressive.

I've only ever been with State Farm, myself. I don't want to get too far into it, but suffice it to say that my parents have always gotten very good service from the insurance agent they've gone through, so I couldn't see switching. He's been very good about saving them money.

I asked for a quote from State Farm, but the agent has yet to reach me. If the price is right, it would be convenient to have a set person to contact in case of an accident.

We have always had State Farm also, my agent's name was Tom Brokaw and he always sent Birthday and Christmas cards. I haven't bothered checking what my rate would be with a different company, of course being a girl I get a little bit of a break. Especially when included with my dad's fleet discount :o)

I got the State Farm quote back. They are about two dollars cheaper a month, but they don't have coverage fo the difference between book value and loan amount if the car is totalled (GAP).
I'll go with Progressive for now, and six months from tomorrow I will be 25, so I'll be looking around again. There is a State Farm agent within a few miles of where I will be living; he'll be hearing from me then.

AAA was cheaper than any of the others for me.
Geico supports gun control monetarily.
