How could I lose a whole hour?

While I was glad to get an extra hour of sleep in the fall, I didn't really notice that daylight savings went into effect last night until I woke up and realized that my alarm clock was an hour behind all the smarter electronics in the room like my VCR[0] and my phone.

I should probably mention that, having lived in Indiana for every spring and fall of my adult life, this is the first time I ever had to spring forward for DST.

[0] Yes, I still possess and use VHS tapes sometimes.

Yeah, When I first came to Indiana, I thought they were weird for not changing times. I've come to like not having to change the clocks.
